Graduated from Prague Conservatory under A. Denygrová, and Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) under M. Podskalský. She took part in Richard Sigmund’s interpretation courses in Merano, Teresa Berganza’s master courses in Santander, Spain, and follow-up concert tour in Spain and France, master courses with Peter Dvorský and Gabriela Beňačková. In 2011 she was the finalist of a prestigious singing competition Concorso di canto lirico internazionale per cantantilirici – Giacomo Puccini in Lucca, Italy. She won the first prize at Antonín Dvořák International Singers Competition in Karlovy Vary. Other prizes: victory in Ad honorem Mozart competition in Prague, International Pustina Competition in Žďár nad Sázavou.

Olga Jelínková debuted as Rossini’s Rosina in the South Bohemian Theatre České Budějovice. She performs regularly on all Czech opera stages in key lyrical coloratura roles: Mozart’s Queen of the Night, Constance, Madam Herz, Verdi’s Gilda and Nanetta, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Bellini’s Moonstruck, Ravel’s Princess – Nightingale – Fire, and many others. Since 2014 she collaborates with the National Theatre in Prague, starring as Mégacles (Mysliveček, L’Olimpiade), Nightingale (Stravinskij, Le Rossignol), Queen of the Night, Constance, and newly in the title role of the Wise Woman in Die Kluge. She regularly performs with various Czech orchestras (Czech Philharmonics Collegium, FOK Orchestra, PKF Orchestra) conducted by Jiří Kout, Libor Pešek, Serge Baud or Jan Latham-Koenig. Her numerous recordings for the Czech Radio include the Voice on Canvas cycle by an US-based author Jan Jirásek. She was twice nominated to the prestigious Czech Thalia awards.
